Day 337: take-you-back-in-time comfort

A classic, proper, take-you-back-in-time, big-hug-from-yer-nan comfort: Day 337 is leftover Christmas ham (cut thick and griddled), dilly pots (with butter), baby leaf greens (also with butter) and Nigella’s Parsley Sauce (the voluptuous edition: with cream and egg yolk). The ham was salty, the greens soothing and the sauce luscious; a beautiful meal to bring the family together on a Saturday night.
