Day 355: welcomed warmth

After a cold, wet, muddy afternoon out at the farm with the kids, this was exactly what we needed waiting for us when we walked in the door; with the pre-weighed bowl of chifferi rigati waiting next to the slow cooker, ready to tip into the slow-cooked meat ragu before even taking our shoes off, so that by the time muddy shoes were put away and wet clothes hung to dry dinner would be ready! Day 355 (ahh, we’re going into the final 10!!) is Nigella’s Slow-Cooker Lamb and Pasta. Bowlfuls handed out to all sitting around the table, with salty feta and fresh mint for showering over freely.
