Day 175: a fine runner-up indeed

For crab lovers across the world, I think we can agree that Nigella’s Crab Mac ‘n’ Cheese is indeed the best macaroni cheese in existence; it’s an entire league in itself, quite honestly; a queen of the highest order. However, I can certainly attest that, for me, this one falls very closely (immediately) behind as a mighty fine runner-up indeed. And being runner-up to the best in the world is still pretty good, right.

I have never really liked homemade mac ‘n’ cheese; I like the kind oozing runny with artificial cheese - but have certainly been converted since embarking on this cookalong. And today’s homemade version took the form of Nigella’s Sweet Potato Macaroni Cheese, from Simply; a recipe I've seen raved about across social media whenever I ask for recommendations for the cookalong.

Nigella’s Sweet Potato Macaroni Cheese

I’m not going to drone on here; I’m on a plane to Amsterdam, we're about to take off, and I'm getting evils from the cabin team as I grasp for this extra second of typing time.

This macaroni cheese is simply scrumptious. I've got two more frozen, oven ready, waiting at home for our return.
