Day 209: a new addiction
Popping on very quickly to post Day 209, and the new addiction in my life: Nigella's Fermented Hot Sauce. A funky, fiery, gingery, garlicky hot sauce that I now consider a necessity in my life.
Nigella’s Fermented Hot Sauce
My batch was fermenting for about 15 days, and I’ve left the now blitzed sauce at room temperature to ferment a little longer - aiming for maximum funkiness. In just the 24 hours it’s been in my life, I’ve enjoyed it: on a midnight turkey sandwich; with ham, egg and chips; and on a chip butty (with butter, and a smear of mayo for creamy contrast).
