Day 213: sweet, golden nectar

I took full advantage of my day off on Thursday and spent most of it napping and eating in bed; where I also contentedly sipped my way through a big bowl of Nigella’s Sweetcorn Chowder with Toasted Tortillas, along with an auxiliary bowl of toasted tortillas - encrusted with cooled, melted salty cheddar - for extra dipping.

Not my finest photo-work, but it's quite hard to balance a bowl of hot sweet golden nectar in one hand, a phone in the other and a bowl of extra tortillas on your lap in bed.
