Day 226: oozy brunch

Hit the hay feeling rather smug on Saturday night knowing this beauty was working magic on itself in the fridge, requiring minimum effort from me and just 25 minutes in the oven the following morning to deliver a most gorgeously cheesy and oozy brunch: Day 226 is Nigella’s Croque Monsieur Bake.

Went easy on the mustard - for the kids - but served more alongside for dolloping freely. I feel I more soaked than sprinkled with the Worcestershire sauce, but that’s just how I like it (my perfect Bloody Mary looks more like dark gravy than vivid red).
