Day 242: hot and sweet

Hot and sweet for Sunday lunch: Day 242 is Nigella’s Prawn and Mango Curry. An upliftingly vibrant red curry of cool coconut, hot & fragrant Thai red curry paste, sprightly lime and sweet prawns, mango, butternut and sweet potato.

One of the cherubs ploughed their way through an entire bowl of this without so much as even a tear in their eye or a bead of sweat on their forehead; the others, however, burst into tears - the littlest totally perplexed by this new tongue-tingling/stabbing sensation in their mouth! (And I’m not totally cruel, I did put extra coconut milk and a bit of sugar in theirs). So it was a quick batch of Sunday Night Pasta, with peas, for them - still Nigellan!
