Day 265: 100 days to go

Like opening the front door and being whacked repeatedly in the face with a great big bouquet of fresh herbs; in the most delightful and invigorating of ways, of course. Day 265 is Nigella’s Tabbouleh.

Nigella’s Tabbouleh

When my eldest sat down and looked in her bowl, she asked if I’d been outside cutting the grass. Future comedian? She also said she loved the worms in it (the segments of pasta) and she wouldn’t be told they were anything but worms.

I honestly thought - simply due to the abundance of vegetation - that this *might* be the one my kids wouldn’t be convinced by. They wolfed their way through three helpings! This was also my first time Tabbouleh-ing and I’m hooked! All herbs grown by yours truly.

Also: Day 265 marks the start of the 100-day countdown!

Recipe for Nigella’s Tabbouleh can be found on page 205 of Kitchen, and is made using the leftover bulgur wheat from the Chorizo and Chickpea Stew (Day 264).
