Day 323: express defrost

This is exactly what you want when the frost fairies are tapping (banging) on your windows: express, definitely cockle-warming, very soothing and highly comforting. Day 323 is Nigella’s Curry in a Hurry.

The kids had cheesy beans - baked beans, Worcestershire sauce, butter, cheddar and sweet smoked paprika, gently simmered for 10-15 mins - on toast. (Might have had a few spoons of that myself too).
