Day 166: a gorgeous fusion

This another one of those that happened unplanned. Got a massive cauliflower at the farm shop last week - it could feed at least six people, as a main - so I thought I'd search the wonder that is nigella.com and get another day of the cookalong under my belt. In addition, I had already had everything I needed. Bonus! I use the ingredient search function on nigella.com instead of going through every book index for inspiration, though I would if I had the time, or to find out which book a specific recipe features in. I then cook straight from the book, as you cannot beat the presence and companionship of the physical form of a cookbook.

This will be last post on here until probably Tuesday next week; we’re having a few days off and going somewhere nice. I’m also writing this on my phone, hence this post's shortness.

Nigella’s Cauliflower and Cashew Nut Curry

A wonderful bowl of tender, sweet, nutty cauliflower and a gorgeous fusion of Indian and Thai flavours. Some delicious sumac-crusted flatbreads on the side for scooping and mopping; adding a touch of the Levant to this gorgeous dinner too!
