Day 246: i wuv it daddy

Rather short on time today, so I’ll let my kids take this one: “I wuv it Daddy”, “pyszne” (yummy/delicious in Polish), “piękne” (beautiful) and “MORE!” (said repeatedly and loudly while banging on the high chair with a spoon), were just a few of the praises I could make out between the groans of joy and pleasure as they slurped their way through several bowlfuls of this uplifting goodness. Day 246 is Nigella’s South Indian Vegetable Curry.

Went for all the suggested veg in the recipe, and will be definitely be adopting this restorative and gorgeously spiced delivery method for any future fridge draw clear-outs, too! Not to belittle or disrespect the heritage of this curry and suggest it only has use for seen-better-days veg; on the contrary, it has immeasurable power.
