Day 274: perfumed beauty

A perfumed beauty, delicately fragrant with cardamom and nubbly with cocoa nibs: Day 274 is Nigella’s Breakfast Banana Bread with Cardamom and Cocoa Nibs. And we’re all totally in love with it; kids included.

I have allocated a corner in my kitchen where bananas can go to ripen and spend their final days; a place out of reach, away from hungry hands, until they’re pulpy and ready for baking/freezing. I *will* invest in a worktop cage if needed.
