Day 305: delicious - and necessary - repetition

Repetition is usually against (my self-set) cookalong rules - each day counted as an official day towards the total 365 must be something new (though of course I do repeat often, off air) - but I feel this occasion needs celebrating and so should be catalogued and given its own day in the journey.

When I first tried it at the beginning of the cookalong, I wasn’t ready for this level - or any level, really - of raw anchovies. It just wasn’t my cup of tea. Not liking something (food wise) really gets my goat (I hate missing out), so when I glanced over at the shelves in my kitchen the other day and saw a packet of long ringlets of pasta waiting to be used I just knew it was about time to give it another shot. The cliche that ‘your tastes change’ couldn’t be more apt here: the other night I greedily devoured several bowlfuls, as did the kids, with joy in my heart. I now plan to incorporate it into our weekly menu.
