Day 331: snowballs in heaven

It was a magical, everything-we-ever-dreamed-of Christmas, but I’d be lying if I said that it wasn’t totally exhausting! So, when the kids’ energy levels finally ran low enough to get them off to sleep on Christmas Day, we moved from fizz to cocktails: Day 331 is Nigella’s Snowball in Heaven (with a few Amarena cherries for glossy, festive decor). Heavenly in every way we needed it to be. And I tell you, after a 5 1/2-drive down to Somerset today, we could do with a few right now.
