Day 218: cheese to face

Each to their own, of course, but if you don’t like mozarella oozing seductively out of edible golden carriages of eggy fried bread, then we probably won’t get on! (Jokes, obvs.)

Found a jar of pasta sauce in the cupboard (with smoked pork belly, red wine and onion), emptied half of it into a small pan, simmered to reduce/thicken and served alongside for dipping/dolloping. (The rest was used - with stock and fresh parsley - to bulk-out and soupify leftovers of N's Risotto al Ragù for supper).
