Day 272: colour palette of dreams

Marigold-orange and pea-green, or a nice moss-green, is the colour palette of my dreams. Or one of them, at least. I dream of having a house big enough one day to dedicate a room solely to it - an office, perhaps - filled with dark wood furniture and stained glass lamps. Oh, and one of those green glass bankers lamps. For now, I’ll have to get my dose of it via this: Day 272 is Nigella’s Butternut and Sweet Potato Curry - which I am more than happy with.

As not to send my kids and less fire-tolerant guests into tongue-burning sweaty panic, I only used one chilli in the curry paste; delivering the kick, and citrusy tang, via a slightly less garlicky version of N’s Coriander and Jalapeño Salsa (made first for Day 96; also from At My Table) for those of us in need of the fire. Straight up lime and coriander for the rest.

Another green and orange palette-sporting number is the Roast Cauliflower with Apricot Harissa and Spinach (made first for Day 156) from Cook Eat Repeat.

The recipe for Nigella’s Butternut and Sweet Potato Curry can be found on p64 of At My Table and on nigella.com (link below).
