Day 281: dazzling
Day 281 is Nigella’s No-churn (homegrown) Blackcurrant Ice Cream with Liquorice Ripple. And it’s simply dazzling. I wouldn’t be lying if I told you my husband and I stood by the freezer eating our way through half the tub just as it reached that mouth-pleasing, soul-soothing soft-serve point; well before anyone else got a look in. It’s truly divine.
I need to get the remaining blackcurrants on the bush picked and frozen because every time someone passes the bush they take a handful, and I want a portion or two for later in the year to make at least one more batch of this tangy, magenta, salty ink-rippled creation.
